Reflection
One of my final projects was for math and physics combined and it was the bottle rocket project. I was grouped up with vincent, and Caleb. One of the biggest challenges to this project was when we had to keep changing our design. Whether it was big or small the way we got around it was by making those changes. For example, splice got a leak at one of practice launches. The way we got around it was that my group got a little hole at the bottom of our rocket and we put in a new 2 LT bottle and we just kept the design of our old one.
One of my group's successes was probably our rocket before it got the leak in the splice. It was probably one of your biggest successes because it would go decently high and the parachute was deploying almost every time. And every practice launch we learned of a new way to fix it or improve it. Whenever we got the leak in the splice and we fixed it it was still decent.
A turning point in this project was when me and my group finished the blueprint. I'm only saying because that kinda took us off into making the rocket. When we finished it we got started and that was like when the calibration started. We asked each other for help more often, we offered to do certain things, and we put our brains together to figure stuff out.
Lessons I learned in this project was that clarataiting does a lot. I'm most definitely going to carry this to next year or other classes I'm still doing group stuff in. But the way I'm going to apply it is I'm going to offer to do certain things or even take over something someone was doing. Even if they want me to do something with the project such as research, getting supplies, And even taking the project home and working on it for us if I can.
If I could do this again I would try to help out more often. Around the halfway mark I started to do more and contribute more but at the beginning I didn't do a whole lot and I felt bad for my partner caleb. When I was doing this project I realized I would kinda start to goof around too much so there's another thing I would do less of if I were to do this project again . I started to tell that I was setting Caleb up for not doing much so I offered help as much as I could so that's another thing I would do if I were to do this project again.
